Continue directly to Year 2 of your undergraduate degree, provided you meet the academic requirements after the first year of your study plan.
Pathway lectures are taught alongside University of Exeter students.
Progress to a UK top 25 civil engineering degree (The Complete University Guide 2026).
Industry experience is available on civil engineering degrees.
Recent engineering graduates now work at PwC, IBM, Jaguar Land Rover and Shell.

Age Requirement

All students must be 17 by the end of their academic year of study, no later than 31 August.

Academic Requirements

Satisfactory completion of A-levels, or first year of overseas university degree with good grades or equivalent. A-level Mathematics or equivalent at grade C. A science subject must also have been studied eg. Biology, Chemistry, Further Mathematics and/or Physics.

English Language Requirements

IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in all subskills) or equivalent.
