University of Exeter International Study Centre is based on the University of Exeter campus, allowing students to experience university life from day one.

As an International Study Centre student, you can access university facilities including the library, study spaces, social areas, sports facilities and student support services. You’ll study in a supportive learning environment while becoming part of the wider University of Exeter community and preparing for your degree studies.

A pathway programme is designed for international students who don’t yet meet the requirements for direct entry to a UK university degree. This may be because of differences in qualifications, academic grades or English language level.

Pathway programmes combine academic preparation, English language support and study skills development to help students transition confidently to university. They also provide additional support and smaller class sizes, helping students adapt to a new academic system and UK student life before progressing to their degree.

After successfully completing your pathway programme and meeting the required progression criteria, you can progress to a degree at University of Exeter.

Depending on your chosen pathway, your options include undergraduate degrees across a range of subject areas. Throughout your studies at University of Exeter International Study Centre, you’ll receive academic and personal support to help you prepare for the next stage of your University of Exeter journey.
